Happy New Year!

Best wishes for a Happy New Year 2012 to all readers of Cubanclassics! "El tiempo se va volando", time flies, they say in Cuba. Over the last three years, our aim at Cubanclassics was to create a showcase of Cuba's unique automotive landscape, and to be a memorial for all kind of cuban cars, and particularly the good old Detroit Iron, as well as their creators and the people who keep this rolling museum running.

Of course one wishes that the times never change and that these classic cars keep on traveling cuban roads like they did in the past decades. But this would be shortsighted. What Cuba's people deserve is progress and change. And the moment these old cacharros disappear from the roads will be the moment when progress has arrived. In the meantime, we'll keep on collecting cuban classics at Cubanclassics.
